when I connected to "Lists.oulu.fi":

As per this message, I have contacted webmaster@l... and asked
him to give me a status on "Vocalist" - i.e., whether it will ever be
brought back on line, and who the listowner/listmanager will be. I have
also asked if "Vocalist.org" will be brought back online, including the
archives. And I have asked whether, if there are no plans to bring
"Vocalist" back online, if I could use FTP to download the archives so
that they won't be lost to us.
I will report whatever response I get (if any).
