sandra,
another explaination as to why humans are better able to digest goat dairy is that gaot dairy leaves an alkaline ash where cow dairy leaves an acid ash. there have been several studies that link too high an acid level to illness. one writer, dr. m. ted morter, jr., author of 'your health, your choice', has suggested that an ammonia smell witnessed in cancer wards is associated with the body's desperate attempt to re-alkaline itself. arnold ehret, author of 'the mucousless diet' had suggested similar thoughts at the beginning of this century (yes, this still is the twentieth century).
another benefit to goat dairy is that its industry is less cruel to the animals in it. the cow dairy industry, being in larger demand, is guilty of forced lactation, seperating calf from mother immediately, and in so doing, supplies the veal industry.
