Dear Friends,
Everyone is different. Some are motivated to study on their own for hours on
end, others not. Some voices are ready for an hour's lesson or more daily,
others would only be reinforcing poor practice habits. There is a vast
variety of study that can supplement a lesson. One of the best things a
student can do is listen. Spend as much time as possible listening to every
kind of singing you possibly can, it only will help you to become more
discerning.

Again, the single most important principle we all need to remember is to know
ourselves. Know your voice. Know what you want. Know what you can do. Know
what you should do and do it.

Practice makes permanent, therefore, one should take exquisite care in what
and how one practices, no?
Warmest regards,
Les
