DITTO DITTO DITTO!!!!!!! I am in the EXACT SAME
position. I have recently discovered what a dramatic
voice I have (although I have taken lessons for years
as a light lyric/soubrette). But, now that I am
singing with my real voice (and better than ever), I
am too old to do several apprentice auditions. (I'm
30)

I actually finished a Masters Degree at the age of 23,
and when I left, the teachers told me that at my age
(implying old) my voice was so immature and small, I
would never have a career. My voice has quadrupled in
size over the last 2 years, and I'm still not sure
where it will stop.

Glad I'm not the only one!!!
