Why the certainty in this statement? Taking chest up even a fourth higher
does not mean it is muscle bound. You can still incorporate vocal fold
lengthening at a higher point and it is not unhealthy for the voice. Beyond
a4, you would be singing on the call of the voice (as Miller puts it), but
going into a mix where you suggest brings on a lot of flip flopping in the
female voice and creates an aesthetic only agreeable to a very small
percentage of the music that one can sing.
