Thank-you Dr. Hanson!! This sounds like what I was trying to say about
the balloon and the basket - escept that you choose to describe it as
"head voice mode" while I would say it's the top end of the co-ordinated
"whole" voice.

So if the muscular portion, along for the ride, decides to disembark,
what do you call it then, please? Isn't that "pure" head voice?
