1. This is no time to try out new material. Pick a song that you know well
enough to sing in your sleep. And pick one that you really, really like.
(Of course, if the auditor is having you sing an excerpt from the show or
oratorio, this does not apply.)

2. Dress up for the occasion, but make sure it's comfortable: no scratchy
crinolines or pinching shoes. If you put your hair up, make sure it will
stay there. Avoid noisy jewelry. (You are a GIRL dolphin, right?)

3. Take a small bottle of water and some peppermints for while you're
waiting, but DON'T bring them into the audition.

4. Smile. Be courteous. If the auditioners don't appear to be listening,
they're probably taking notes. Be sure to thank the auditors and the
pianist when you're finished.

5. This is only you're first audition. You will have others. Take it
easy, and sing like you mean it.
