If your teacher sings well, then obviously what he does works well for him. That doesn't mean it will work for everybody (and that's true of any teacher). I would advise you to pay careful attention as you work and see whether the methods work for you as well as they do for your teacher. If so, good. If not,then you may wish to make a change. Time will tell.
