Hi All,
I just saw Ingmar Bergman's movie version of The
Magic Flute. It was in Swedish with English
subtitles. First time I heard Swedish sung, but
that'a beside the point. Anyway, the guy playing
Papageno resembled Hakan Hagegard, but I'm not sure
that it was him. He is Swedish isn't he? For a
Swedish production, I guess it would make sense, but
does anyone know for sure if it was him. He was
married to Barbara Bonny and she recently put out an
album of Nordic songs, so she had to learn Swedish
from somewhere, but again, that's beside the point.
The movie was made in the early 70s. So if anyone
knows if this is really him, or if you've seen the
video and would like to comment on it, I would love to
hear from you.
