Dear List,
I'm primarily a lurker but now I'm asking for some info, please. Has
anyone heard of the opera/operetta/? "Das Barbeque" which is a spoof of
the Ring Cycle? If so, would you please tell me the composer and/or
publisher. This is becoming quite a sleuthing expedition, as even the
Library of Congress can't find anything on it. I understand it aired on
public radio several years ago but my source knew nothing more about it
than that. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. It sounds like it
would make a great summer offering for the local opera company that I
sing with.
