AIUI, Montserrat Caballe was the Spanish badminton champion once. I
rather fancy this was not over the past few years...
(and FWIW, I myself was once the girls' schools fencing champion for the
county of Somerset UK, and winning trophies and scholarships for singing
at the same time. If you could see me now, you would find that as
unlikely as the previous example - it was 35 years ago!)
