Sorry to everyone who is elsewhere, but I know there are a few other
people on the list who live in Sydney.
I have just got notification that my AMus exam is in 3 and a bit
weeks, and my normal accompanist has disappeared off the face of the
earth, and has not been replying to my calls for the last month or
so. I had assumed he was just very busy (he is), and would get back
to me, so I didn't panic too much about finding someone else, as all
other times, my exam has been latish September.
I am now panicking :-)
If you know any good accompanists who would be possibly able to give
me six hours in the evenings over the next three weeks, and would be
willing to do a session with my teacher one Saturday morning, and an
exam on Saturday afternoon, 12 August, could you please let me know
(Actually, just let me know if you know of any good accompanists. I
can ask all those questions). None of the piano music is too
challenging - Che faro, Deh per questo, Immer leiser and Silence is
Golden. It is all in fairly good shape vocally, but I obviously need
to get together with someone NOW.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received. My email is
