Hi everyone I just want to introduce myself to the list as I am a new member. I love to sing, but haven't started voice lessons due to the fact that I get so nervous singing in front of a teacher. Actually I had a bad teacher that said I was a high soprano but after a while I just couldn't sing the music. She got mad, and said it was my fault, and eventually I totally lost my voice and since then I know that I am not a soprano. But I don't want the same thing to happen again. I sing classical music and would like to go in to singing but I am not sure if I want to sing opera or not. Anyway I am so glad I found the list (it took me a while due to the other one not working) Bye for now Steph At 07:05 14/07/00, you wrote: >In a message dated 00-07-13 16:28:59 EDT, you write: > > > > > I have a student who does a great deal of singing in churches, all > > denominations, and she has literally run out of GOOD repertoire to sing >that > > > > she hasn't already done.
