My answer is not going to be very popular, but it worked for me!

I began to take 20 mg of propranolol (or Inderal, a beta blocker) to mask
the symptoms of my hyperthyroidism a few years ago. I went back to school,
and had to do more and varied types of performing than just the occasional
church solo. I discovered that my stage fright was gone. Even after I got
off the lovely calming drug my worst symptoms of stage fright had
disappeared. I believe it was a wonderful by-product of my weird thyroid
disease that I was able to feel what it was like to perform calmly, and have
been able to recreate that feeling ever since. Many performers take beta
blockers to be calm, but one must be careful not to dull the excitement
completely for fear of having a dulled performance.

Self-hypnosis, meditation, prayer, and if all else fails, DRUGS!
