I was at an lesson for children by Barbara Bonney, and
she made them associate an A with something (that's
the way our memory works, things in our memory don't
disappear, you just need the clue, the connection,
Proust's 'madeleine', like a FAT on a hard disk). Her
idea was that you can train a perfect pitch within
certain limits.
