Hi Anne-Louise:
I've looked through my Finnish repertoire and come up with the following
pieces. Most of them have just a hint of the melancholy that is often a
predominant quality of Finnish music.
By Jean Sibelius: Vilse (Lost) Op.17 nr. 4.
By Yrjo" Kilpinen: Ihme (Miracle) Op. 21 nr. 6; Tunturilaulu (Song of the
Fells) Op.54 nr. 4.
By Leevi Madetoja: Tule kanssani (Take my Hand) Op. 9 nr. 3; Geisha Op. 9 nr.
5.

These are all published by Fazer Musiikki and are contained in the two volume
set of Finnish Solo Songs.

Cheers,
Craig, Burnaby BC
