Subject:  Seeking info for programme notes

I'm putting together the programme notes for my upcoming concert, and
am at a loss to find any meaningful information about the following:

Saint-Saens: Oratorio de Noel. All I know at this point is that it
was Saint-Saens' first major choral work, and debuted in 1863. Anyone
who has sung this work - have you got any old programme notes lying
around?

Rachmaninoff: Songs Op. 34, specifically #6, The raising of Lazarus.
All I know at this point is the composition year, the poet, the fact
that the song was dedicated to Chaliapin, and the fact that it comes
from the same cycle as the famous "Vocalise". Any information about
the whole cycle or the particular song would be much appreciated.

I'm on a very tight deadline, so any info you can turn up in the next
24 hours would be FANTASTIC!

Thanks,

Karen Mercedes
