Amen! I worry about that, too. I've been watching (I'm rather embarrassed to admit) American Idol this season, and there have been so many voices that I thought would be really good if they just weren't so darn nasal. I just hate that. On the other hand, I've also been impressed with a couple of the singers that I thought were just plain wonderful.
