Deb, Have them say "today" a few times and ask them to notice where their tounge is. Have them say it several times more and make it more dental. You'll end up with an Italian sounding "tre" - or a flipped r. After they are comfortable with flipping the r, they can try to put more air through it. Eventually, you'll end up with a rolled r, but it may take awhile. That's how I learned to do it. Jean Marie
