Subject:  Double Counting, was Re: Question

Dear Michael et al,
Bravo Michael! Clear and to the point. I believe the basic
misunderstanding hinged between singing from one octave "into"
another octave, and being able to sing over the span of an octave
being two entirely different things. Being able to sing in the "2"
octave and the "3" octave doesn't necessarily mean the compass of
one's voice covers the entirety of both "2" AND "3". If one can sing
from G2 to G4, the range is 2 octaves and that's it.
Regards,
Les
