Subject:  Re: Cornelius Reid teaching ( Was Head voice from falsetto)

I have never found Cornelius Reid's teaching at variance with his
writing, quite the opposite. He is the very soul of consistency.
This does not mean he has failed to grow and expand his knowledge. I
think we would all agree that good teaching is a work in progress. I
feel as if I learn something about teaching from every lesson I give,
sometimes about the way the voice works, sometimes about how to deal
with personality types, but always something. At any rate, I was
fortunate to have a few lessons with him recently (After a hiatus of
many years - What a treat!) and also audited a few lessons. I found
him exactly as I had left him, absolutely clear, dazzling in his
logic and rationality of approach and utterly effective. I guess I
sound like a cheer leader, but that is what I feel.
