I wondered about that too, Peggy. Perhaps with a very exaggerated RP
approach, the vowels could begin to harmonize, but I am singing it in
a less heightened way and hoping the inaccurate rhyme doesn't bother
too many people! It's not the greatest [German-English] translation,
but that's what they gave me! :)
