the best way to judge whether or not the effect of holding your nose
is better than what you normally do, is to tape both. even so, both might
be lacking. the effect of holding your nose may cause you to inadvertantly
lower your larynx. this might improve the tone but, at the same time you
might lose the part of the tone that goes along with the sensation of
vibrations in the nose.
