As an aside, I have noticed that when I try to take my head voice down too
low (say, to an F or E above middle C), I get a very ugly warble. Also true
when I use a "mix." Therefore, I've found it easiest and most pleasant for my
listeners if I simply switch into my chest voice. This is accomplished easily
enough if you lighten up your sound a bit, and nobody but a *very* careful
listener who knows my voice very well can hear me switching.
