I get up early in the morning to answer my e-mail, check the weather forecast and read the NY Times online before I head for the gym to begin my day. There is a great article in today's Times on an exhibit at the Imperial War Museum in London organized around the poetry written during World War I. You may find some insight there in your program planning.
As a side note and a reminder that information here is strictly caveat emptor, I made an error regarding the death of Ivor Gurney: he was not killed during World War I, but went mad after it.
