She is rather popular in Scandinavia, but it's been some time since she's
been on the radio or other media, so perhaps it's more "was" than "is". She
got a fair amount of publicity in Denmark by marrying a much older, very
well known entertainer.
I'd describe her as a soprano in the "light popular" genre. Nice voice if
you are into that kind of thing.
May I ask where you ran into her? The Titanic soundtrack?
