I received a Vocalist message yesterday with an attachment labeled "Spider.sav.pif" and deleted it without opening the attachment.
I'm sorry you got a virus that tracked back to me!!! I assiduously update my virus files and do a virus sweep of my hard drive at least once/day. It's actually pretty funny - or maybe there's a real reason - that the name of the virus or attachment was Spider.sav. I play Spider almost compulsively when work is slow. You might say I'm addicted to it . . .
I'll do a check on Symantic (Norton Anti-Virus) for it. It may just be an inadvertent thing that's harmless.

I just received a message entitled
( vocalist) diction (e and o) The text said it was from SM Schneider.
A dialog box popped up to say it was infected with the "spider.sav.pif" virus. Delete the message and take appropriate anti virus steps. I can't find anything on-line about it but the name of the virus was in the McAfee virus warning pop-up.
