Velar laziness. It is resonance disorder only, not one of phonation. Have
him hold his nose and get rid of the sound. Demonstrate this for him. He
needs to be made aware of this habit. If he can make a stop consonant (k,
g, b, p, t, d) then he is capable of eliminating excessive nasalence.
