Molly -

I have one extremely young student (she's 10 now - she was 7-1/2 when she
started with me - I accepted her reluctantly when I took her older sister -
the older sister lost interest, Jenny's still with me). She's very smart,
has been taking piano since 5, and is good on stage. We work the same way I
work with my older students in terms of technique and discussing breathing,
etc. Mostly the same exercises, but not the same rep. I have her in Kids
B'way Solos, Solos for Kids, and we just started working in "Early Songs for
the Beginning Soprano." I don't think I 'd take another that young, because
frankly I don't usually LIKE children of that age group :) But I'm glad I
have Jenny.
