That sounds very bizarre! Is there a different ENT you can go to?
You're symptoms sound kind of serious.
Take care...

had a sore throat sometimes when I woke up sometimes not, I told him
my throat hurt when I sang high notes and the soreness would last
all day. Sometimes I just have a irratated low level sore
throat...constant but not RELLY painful unless I sing some high
notes.

He didn't want to do a scope or anything like that. He said he
wanted to stay practical....and gave me a scrip for Ampicilan and
three weeks of samples of Aciphex..he said that perhaps some acid
was coming up in my throat at night making it sore. But why does
it hurt more when I sing? Why does it hurt more when I sing high
notes? He tried to be funny, and said "he was a lousy doctor and
that he didn't use fancy words or run lots of tests unless he
thought it was really necessary." He told me that he believed the
meds he gave me would help, and if they did not to call him. He
also commented that he thought I was overly sophicticated and overly
educated.....I have no idea what he meant by that.

sore throat. I haven't sung in weeks. (actually I have tried and it
was painful so I stopped)
