Howard, whereas Diane is right to say by all means go
to the workshop; if you get a good deal out of it then
that's fine. Alexander Technique will do you
absolutely no harm. Whether it will improve your
voice is a different argument. In my own experience
(having had Alexander Technique myself) I have found
that, although you end up with a feeling of wellbeing,
it actually causes some singers not to sing as well as
they can owing to the tension needed for the vocal
intrument to work at it's best being somewhat 'ironed
out' Just my own experience as I said. Give it a go
and I hope you enjoy it. As a traineed masseur I am
bound to say that that would probably be as good for
you!
