Actually, I’d forgotten about that idea! I had an adult man student who owned a bread making business.. he had one of those huge panel trucks for deliver. I was trying to help him use more breath pressure instead of tightening his largynx muscles for high notes and he was perceiving his voice as sounding nasal and thin when I was saying his voice sounded great. One day he practiced with his voice lesson tape while driving in his bread truck, empty.. and the wall that is usually between the driver’s cab and the cabin of the truck was gone, so his voice reverberated all through the truck.. thus he “heard” how I was hearing him and came to his next lesson all excited and of course it was easier to teach him after that, too. Now, if there just was a big cathedral or canyon somewhere nearby my studio!
