Wow, thank you SO MUCH for your post on ADHD students. I see a couple
of my adult students in your list of characteristics.. and also MYSELF…
This is one of the most helpful posts on VOCALIST that has come through,
so far this month! (for my studio!). I already have tried the eye
contact technique with students this evening. Tuesday night students
aren’t ADHD, but I found it helps ME focus on what I’m doing with them.
And the part about doing a physical activity has really really helped my
concentration a lot. I will definitely check out the Hartmann book as
you suggest.
Any more information you can share on the list will be eagerly absorbed!
