I want to thank you Ian Belsay ((if you're still on this list)) for you tips on "Learning how to trill". You said awhile back that in order to do a proper trill, ((like the great divas)) the throat/larynx must be relaxed, and the larynx has to bob with the trill. You then gave me some tips on how to do this, and I have been trying them ever since. Well finally I discovered that no matter how relaxed my throat was, my jaw still had a lot of tension. So then I started working on relaxing the jaw, and once I did this, my throat became so relaxed, and I could feel my larynx bobbing with the trill. Its fantastic!!! I can now do a long long birdie trill like I have always wanted. This has also improved my coloratura singing!!! So I thank you Ian for your tips. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain your technique, and giving pointers on how to do it.
Much thanks,
Kenneth Ealy Primo Uomo
