I'm in a small Kansas town and I charge $20 an hour. I have a Masters
degree and am a NATS member. The other teacher in town charges less but
only has a bachelor's degree and less experience. When I lived in
Michigan in a larger city, I did charge more (and paid more for my own
lessons. I paid $50 an hour to study with a good teacher). Hope this

I think that is helpful Elizabeth! It is ridiculous to suggest someone
charge a fee that isn't based on anything. So now some of you can see fees vary
wildly all over the country.
