The Szymanski Studio -"encouraging excellence in the vocal arts"
Hi everyone …
Wow, great advice. I know there are a lot of teachers in my area teaching, but I don’t know their names, so I’m not sure how to find out what people are charging. I do know I’m charging less, but I’m not sure how much less.
I like Sharon’s studio motto… I’m thinking of changing mine to something like Sharon’s after seeing her’s. Mine is “If you can talk, you can sing!” which is part of African proverb that also includes “If you can walk, you can dance”… but now that I’m getting more students who have some talent, I’m finding I can puruse excellence in singing art to a higher degree than if I always have only students who need to learn how to vocalize at the basic level of being able to carry a tune… although teaching people this successfully is also rewarding.
My studio is full right now .. but I’ve found that people aren’t interested in staying on a waiting list, they just find someone else …
