Gotta hear the song about toothpaste - alas, I live in Los Angeles so I
doubt I'll be able to make it. Have fun!!!

Who's the song by and what's the title, out of curiosity?

I wanted to let you know about an interesting event next week. The
tenor
Paul Sperry, under the aegis of the Joy in Singing program, will be
teaching a master class on the art song repertoire, and I will be one of
the performers. The class takes place on Wednesday afternoon, March 6,
2002 at 3 p.m. in the Bruno Walter Auditorium of the NY Public Library
of
the Performing Arts (111 Amsterdam Ave.) and will last just under two
hours. It's free and open to the public. Mr. Sperry, in addition to
being
a prominent performer, is an intelligent, witty, and kindhearted master
teacher. I have worked with him before and it's a treat for the singer
and
the audience alike.

I will be singing two songs about love and one song about toothpaste.

I'd love to see you there!
