Hi Debra,

There have a few times when singing a song was emotionally difficult
when working on it on my own but I've never had the experience at the
time of a performance. On second thought, I could hardly finish
singing Waltz for Debby at my step-daughter's graduation from drug
rehab, but there is nothing that could have prepared me for that one.

One suggestion I have is to several times sing the piece and let
yourself cry. After a few times of that I would guess that you will
find something else.
