Well, no, it didn't hurt them per se, however I would find SOME of
their performances a whole lot less hilarious and therefore somewhat
more satisfying if they had tried to downplay or even eliminate the
worst excesses of their accent. (Mind you, I have never listened to
Julio or his progeny, so I am not too sure about them.)
