How are we defining a "solo"? Solo number? Bernardo has a solo (as written) in the Tonight quintet. It's almost never performed that way, but it's written that way.
The Sharks presumably would have had more to sing in the original version of the Prologue, "Mix" (at least I think that's what it was called). I don't think any copy of that survives, although Bernstein re-used some of the music in Chichester Psalms - the raging nations section of Part II. "Lamah rag'shu, lamah rag'shu goyim..."
