When were you at Eastman ? We did have the recordings polished up, as far as possible, considering their great age and the condition of the G&T recordings, where pitch varied !
If you listen carefully, you will find that Moreschi's voice was, like the curate's egg, good in parts. I do know, since I wrote the greater part of the booklet for the LP and CD. I refer you to my earlier posting of this day, and invite you to my web site. Regards,
