I know. It was "wonky" when I tried it. However, I seem to have retained enough of my high school Spanish to make sense (?) of the original page.

I wouldn't know about her in her prime. But during a chorus rehearsal, Mme. Albanese broke into Cio-Cio-San's entrance part. Not bad for an 80-something (or whatever age she may be).
She is, unfortunately, rather frail in body. Most of the "heavy lifting" in the stage direction is being done by the assistant director, Liliane Cromer, who is also one of our Suzukis. (She handled the early, herding-cats stage rehearsals.)
Of course, managing the chorus in the first couple of dress rehearsals was still a little like herding cats. ;-D
