I can see what did unseat you about my mail to Karen : me breaking the
netiquette rule that MONEY (even more than sex) is TABOO, boo, boo !
This is not the right forum to lecture a demure little minx on the
indulging of the wealthy, by Jove, right ?
Which obviously gives you holy reasons to call me "hostile and insulting" !
God blesseth your decency !
My piece of advice : before even attempting to give us tips on how to deal
with an audience, don't go playing hide-and-seek with whom you claim does
tongue-in-cheek ! You might lose feathers on the battlefield, which might
turn your candid view of the dawning of the many splendoured twenty-first
century a rancid one ! You might then in defence, disarray or despair,
ruefully swap the glossy "modern" path for the all too saucy well-trodden
one ! Resort to the old sort ! For war, hatred, negativity, evil is still
out there, it is plain to see. And in times of warfare, there is no such
thing as a fair war. It's not always sunny in the Land of Milk and Honey.
So I shamelessly did broach the subject of money !
Yes I do believe in Masters, not teachers, the latter generally being
disasters as preachers ! Producing a couple of dud trump cards under a
student's flabbergasted nose, sticking like a retread tyre to a dented
tyro's road, how cheap, how lame, how pitiable, how meaningless. No ! Let
the disciple paddle his own canoe, row up the rapid back to its source. No
pain, no gain. The rest is lollypop for bobbysoxers.
Farewell.
Bart.
