Hey Virginia, I'm in Cleveland too. I'm a vocal performance major at Baldwin- Wallace. The Christmas Oratorio is a great place to look. There is a great soprano aria in there. My friend Alix did it in our recital last year. It's an Echo Aria..with oboe and another soprano, if you've got one, but I think you could get away with just the oboe because it echoes quite a bit anyway. Best of luck.
