Excellent question, Tom, about lessening vocal fatigue in the speaking voice. Two quick & easy things that you could start paying attention to are drinking a lot of water and making sure that you actually take a relaxed breath when you speak. (Sometimes when we speak a lot, the abdominal muscles get habitually tight because we don't actually take the time to breathe between sentences. It can help just to consciously slow down those breaths. Take a little pause before continuing and use that tiny pause as a chance to relax and take a leisurely breath.)
