There is a set of two repertoire books by Noni Espina which I find invaluable. Repertoire for the solo voice : a fully annotated guide to works for the solo voice published in modern editions and covering material from the 13th century to the present / by Noni Espina ; with a foreword by Berton Coffin. -- Metuchen, N.J. : Scarecrow Press, 1977.

The songs and arias are listed by voice type rather than the German fach designations. Sopranos are listed as lyric, coloratura, dramatic, etc. It lists the full works the pieces are taken from and the publishers. I believe it also lists anthologies in which the pieces may be found when available in such.
Berton Coffin wrote a multi volume repertoire work also. Something along the lines of Repertoire for Singers.
