There is a series of MUSIC MINUS ONE opera recordings, with John Wustman
as the pianist. The nice thing about these is is that they are
classification-specific - e.g., Soprano, Mezzo, Tenor, Baritone. The
downside is that Wustman tends to be pretty relentless about tempi, so
don't expect any "slack" - but that's going to be true of any karaoke, and
it's why I find using prerecorded accompaniments so difficult - no room
for rubato!

There is also a CD called OPERA KARAOKE, which has "greatest hits" arias
in all fachs.

If you go to Tower Records, you will also find a number of "Opera without
Voices" and "Opera without Words" orchestral recordings in the Opera bins.
