those short bursts are often done at sprint speed, an anaerobic activity. long distance running is aerobic activity. while bartoli might be making faces at a pace that is similar to an aerobic exercise, the rest of her is not. looking frantic and exercising are two different things. could you run 50 yards and sing? when pro basketball players sit down on the bench for a break, does their breathing look controlled enough to sing?
