Thanks to Peggy and to Christine for your tips on head tone. My lessons are 30
minutes once a week and that seems like such a short time...notlong enough to
work a problem like "no head tone" out at all. I am going to try all the
tips...in fact the whimpering like a puppy and the siren seem promising
already....and it's true my body thinks "singing" is one thing only...and I
just tense up over head tone!!!

If anyone else has any ideas I would LOVE to hear them...I need some remedial
head tone tuteledge!

I'll tell you, Lea Ann - when a concept or vocal idea isn't
working, it's time to drop that idea and work on the problem
from a different direction. The more you "try" to sing your
concept of "head tone", the less likely it is you're going
to get it, because you're trying too hard and probably
getting all tensed up.
