I thought of a few more possibilities:
"Hurr, hopp, hurr, hopp" - the Hexenlied from Humperdinck's HANSEL UND GRETEL (dramatic mezzo or contralto)
"Ah! Ruggiero crudel...Ombre pallide" from Handel's ALCINA (lyric coloratura soprano)
Fata Morgana's curse on the Prince, in Prokofiev's THE LOVE FOR THREE ORANGES (dramatic soprano) (Prokofiev himself prepared a French libretto for the opera, which might be a less daunting alternative to the Russian)
Sir Roderic's song, "When night wind howls", from Gilbert & Sullivan's RUDDIGORE (even better if you can have the chorus of dead male ancestors) (baritone)
"My Name is John Wellington Wells" from G&S's THE SORCERER (patter baritone) - actually, the whole incantation/love philtre scene would be great fun, but needs a chorus as well as soloists.
